One Inch Badge Records are incredibly proud to announce the release of Pope Joan’s debut mini-album ‘Hot Water, Lines and Rickety Machines. Pope Joan have continued to impress us from the first time they ever played a show for OIB back in February 2007 with Help She Can’t Swim. Since then the band has gone from strength to strength becoming the most exciting band in Brighton by quite some distance and as such we’re all incredibly proud to be working with such a phenomenal talent.

This page is the blog home for Pope Joan where in the following months leading up to the release of their record you’ll be able to follow their progress as they keep you up-to-date with the recordings, shows and general shenanigans of the Pope Joan camp.

The band is due into the studio to record at the end of January but first here are a few snaps we took of the band at their last rehearsal:
