Hailing from Nottingham England but now living out of beaten tour buses the world over, Lovvers are a lo-fi skuzzy dance-punk four-piece featuring members of the seminal UK post-metal band The Murder of Rosa Luxemberg.
Re-calling the spirit of Darby Crash's Germs, the weirdness of Flipper, Wipers style pop, the driving rhythm of the Minutemen, and the careless attitude of The Replacements, Lovvers are a chaotic yet organised mess of fractured guitar, hard-hitting drums, and mangled vocals.
Now signed to the Wichita label Lovvers have played over 200 gigs since they formed in 2006 touring with bands including the Butthole Surfers, No Age, Times New Viking, Abe Vigoda, Jay Reatard, Mika Miko, Fucked Up, and Black Lips.
