Bio:
Devonian roots-punk quartet, Crazy Arm, release their second album, ‘Union City Breath’, on 10th October. The album was produced and engineered by Peter Miles (King Blues, The Computers, Sonic Boom Six) at his new studio deep in the South Devon countryside. The lead single from the album, 'Tribes/Animals' (Single Of The Month – Big Cheese), is available to download now. 7” vinyl on Gunner Records ...to follow. The album will coincide with a tour of the UK in September/October. In November, Crazy Arm will be the main support to Against Me! on all their European/UK headline dates (all dates below).

Taking its cue from the spurious idea of the Big Society, 'Union City Breath' is a reminder that all societies are made by people and can be changed or at least challenged by people whenever necessary. The most authoritarian of institutions and the largest of multinational corporations are still only the product of human endeavour, propped up by other people with the same global interests. The wave of riots that swept through the UK this summer may not be a perfect manifestation of radicalism but it was an unmistakable display of disenfranchised anger and discontent with deep-seated causes, regardless of how uncomfortable it may have made us feel.

Crazy Arm set up camp in mid-2006. Not easy to categorise, and all the better for it, their sound is an accumulation of decades of influence and inspiration: rooted in hardcore/punk, ‘60s protest folk/country and classic rock’n’roll, combined with a grass-roots political overview that embraces anti-war, anti-fascist and pro-community activism.

Their debut album, 'Born To Ruin' was released on Xtra Mile in June 2009 to much acclaim from fans and critics alike (‘Stunning’ KKKK – Kerrang!) and was released in mainland Europe on Gunner Records in March 2010.
