WOMEN
Effortlessly mixing noise, static and infectious Beach Boys-esq pop hooks, WOMEN straddle "the 1960's divide between the Warhol crowd's speed-addled New York cynicism and the echoes of psychedelic San Francisco that bubbled up across the pon in the fey, catchy pop of UK groups like the Zombies". - Pitchfork
COLD PUMAS
Driving lo-fi rhythms from Brighton. Like a breakneck Black Eyes.
THEE FAIR OHS
Demanding and dirty lo-fi punk trash from London

Lyrically sharper and wittier than ever The Thermals continue to knock out their near perfect sonic pop-gems with a neo-grunge attitude. One for fans of Weezer / Pie Bald / Death Cab For Cutie.
SKETCHES
Hyper rhythmic groove laden indie-pop. "Two strong vocals, badass drums and rhythmic breakdowns. 5 out of 5 for musical talent!" - Willy Mason

OIB and Shifty Disco present:
MY DEVICE
My Device are a fervent, fiery three piece from Brighton playing their frenzied pop songs as loud as they possibly can. http://www.myspace.com/mydevice
THE RACE
"endearingly awkward... couldn't be more triumphalistic if they soundtracked Brandon Flowers taking a unicorn for a victory lap round a paddock" - NME
Championed by Radio 1, 6 Music and XFM and supporting the likes of Supergrass, The Spinto Band, Babyshambles & Captain - Reading 5 piece The Race have gathered legions of fans and journalists alike.
The Race admit to turning to North America for musical inspiration - to the magical realism of Arcade Fire or the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and realise ambitions of capturing the bigger spaces of Pixies and the emotive Americana of The National and inform them with a distinctly English sensibility.
KING OF SPAIN
King Of Spain are a four piece hailing from Balham, South London. Their much anticipated debut album 'Battleships and Aeroplanes' is out now on pioneering Oxford label Shifty Disco.

ANTON BARBEAU
"Anton Barbeau represents the Sacramento chapter of that nameless coterie of enduringly reliable, acid-tinged singer-songwriters that includes XTC's Andy Partridge, Robyn Hitchcock, Julian Cope and the Bevis Frond's Nick Saloman. His new album bathes beautifully constructed, thoughtfully arranged songs in a fading psychedelic sunshine, and it would be many casual consumers' album of the year if only they got to hear it. Four stars". - The Sunday Times
